Description
The Map of Occupation of the Soil of the Canary Islands represents a total and continuous coverage of land uses of the entire archipelago.
It is obtained from photogrammetric photointerpretation of 1:18,000, on a simplified geographical image and in shades of gray of the planimetry of the Topographic Map 1:20,000. The information is structured as a geographical information system and aims to facilitate the rapid integration of the density and character of the current occupation of the territory.
