Mapping of Natural Hazards in the Principality of Asturias - WMS
Description
The original source of the geographical information contained in this web service is the work entitled "Natural Risks in the Principality of Asturias", commissioned by the Government of the Principality of Asturias in 2001 and prepared by the Institute of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning of the University of Oviedo (INDUROT) on a scale of 1:200,000.
The main objective of this geographical service is to provide a general picture of the SUSCEPTIBILITY of the regional territory against certain potentially dangerous natural processes. Combining this information of susceptibility with the elemenos threatened at all times, it is possible to obtain an indication of the RISK.
The layers of geographical information presented here constitute a revision of the original ones modifying some aspects for publication through the Geoportal of the Territorial Information System of the Principality of Asturias and the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Asturias (SITPA-IDEAS).
