Beaches and Lighthouses - WMS
Description
WMS service with the geolocation of the lighthouses and the main beaches of Asturias.
Through queries about vector entities it is possible to obtain extended information on each beach or lighthouse, as well as links to photos and sheets in PDF format.
- PLAYAS is a vector geographic information layer with the cartography of the main Asturian beaches. The sources of information consulted for the elaboration of this layer have been the "Complete Guide to Asturian beaches", the 2016 MAPAMA Beach Catalogue; SHP layer of the Special Territorial Plan for the Integrated Coastal Port Management Strategy of the Principality of Asturias (EIGPLA) and information on municipal websites and other tourist and local content, as well as Google Earth. Existing information on spaces with environmental protection was also used.
- The FAROS Layer is made by digitizing the points on orthophotos of the PNOA. The digitization of the point is done on the body of the tower that supports the lantern.
