Agrological Classes - WFS
Description
Web service that allows to visualize the cartographic information of the "Map of Agrological Classes", whose fundamental objective is to provide information about the conditionings and limitations that the agrarian activity (agricultural, livestock and forestry) imposes on the factors of production of each region, municipality, parish or exploitation unit.
The method of Agrological Classes developed for the whole of Asturias over the last decades is based on the evaluation method called Land Capability Classification. This method defines eight agrological classes with increasing use limitations based on extrinsic properties of soils, from Class I (without limitations of uses - has not been defined in Asturias) to Class VIII (maximum limitations that exclude productive uses).
