Agroecological Resources Assessment 1:10.000 (in pilot areas) – WMS
Description
The information contained in this WMS service shows the agroecological evaluation of certain territorial units of the Principality of Asturias in two distinct areas. On the one hand, in areas of vegas and valleys that are repressive of some of the most interesting areas of AGRÍCOLA in Asturias, and on the other hand, an area of use mainly FORESTAL, characteristic of the Asturian West.
In short, the objective of this information is to define the suitability that a given territory, considered as a model or “pilot zone”, possesses for the implementation of various agricultural uses, both forestry and agricultural. It is intended to establish which of the uses evaluated are the most suitable in a given territory (in this case, pilot zones) according to the characteristics of the existing natural soils, their climatic conditions and their geomorphological conditions, and thus establish an objective basis for the development of sustainable agricultural uses.
