Space Weather Follow On (SWFO) Auxiliary data from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite 19 (GOES-19)

Description

This data collection consists of archived Space Weather Follow On (SWFO) Auxiliary data from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite 19 (GOES-19). The archival process includes 1 daily file in the NetCDF format. GOES-19 launched in late April 2024. Other products available are auxiliary files (pkt-l0_g19, orb-pr_g19, and sc-att_g19); CCOR1 files (ccor1-l0a_g19, ccor1-l0b_g19, ccor1-l1a_g19, ccor1-l1b_g19, and ccor1-l2_g19); and, National Centers for Environmental Data (NCEI) Retrospective Science products (sci_ccor1-l1a_g19, sci_ccor1-l1b_g19, sci_ccor1-l2_g19, sci_ccor1-l3_g19, sci_ccor1-dm_g19, and sci_ccor1-mm_g19).

0 The Space Weather Follow On Lagrange 1 (SWFO-L1) mission is a deep-space mission operating in a Lissajous orbit at the Sun-Earth Lagrange 1 (L1) point, enabling upstream measurements of solar wind disturbances before they reach Earth. It will provide continuous measurements of the sun’s corona and of the solar wind at the L1 point and transmit continuous real-time data to Earth. https://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/next-generation/space-weather/swfo-instruments
