Protected areas of fishing interest in the Valencian Community.
According to DOGV No 3075 of 10 September 1997, protected areas of fishing interest are declared in the internal waters of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, trawling in these waters is prohibited and the Directorate-General for Industry, Cooperatives, Fisheries and Agricultural Relations is empowered to establish regulatory and control measures that allow the conservation and regeneration, where appropriate, of these areas.
