Description
This data set, collected during the SnowEx 2020 Intensive Operation Period (IOP) in Grand Mesa, Colorado, contains in situ snow depth measurements. Snow depth was measured using one of three instruments - Magnaprobe, Mesa 2, or pit ruler. Pit ruler data were collected from 150 snow pits identified for the Grand Mesa IOP. Magnaprobe and Mesa 2 data were collected along spiral tracks moving outwards from snow pit locations. This data set has a temporal coverage from 28 January to 12 February 2020.
