The data is based on the Baseline report on legal timber supply in Peru.
This study estimates the size and geographical distribution of the volumes and areas of timber production, by type of Forest Title (TH) and by number of users, as well as estimates of risk and illegality levels based on the results of GoP supervision, among other relevant data that can contribute to defining and implementing measures to strengthen forest governance and competitiveness of the timber value chain of the Peruvian Amazon.
The database shows the data on the movement of timber from the forest titles of Loreto, Ucayali, Madre de Dios, Amazonas, Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Pasco and San Martín regions, for the year 2017. The data were collected from the Forest Transport Guides; the analysis of these data allowed to determine and characterize the supply and demand of timber in the different supply chains. |
