Site information, probability differences, and entropy-based metrics of streamflow information for the USGS continuous streamflow monitoring network, 1981-2020
Description
These data sets have at-site values of probability differences and entropy-based metrics to compare the effects of streamflow resolution, monitoring period, and record extension instead of monitoring on streamflow information. Source code for the R functions used to calculate conditional probabilities, conditional entropy, and mutual information are included in a compressed file with instructions.
