Urban Landscape of Murcia. Formal assessment
Description
This layer shows the formal assessment of the landscape units characterized in the Urban Landscape Study of the City of Murcia, elaborated in 2013. Its scope includes the consolidated urban area or in the development phase of the city and the rest of the territory not included in the Landscape Study of the Huerta de Murcia and Vega Media
Coinciding with the approval of the European Landscape Convention, on October 20, 2000 in Florence, the Ministry that held the competences in the field of Spatial Planning of the Region of Murcia, began the drafting of Landscape Studies of subregional scope, which would serve as support for the drafting of Guidelines and Spatial Planning Plans that, in the same areas, were to begin immediately.
