Description
It shows the areas that are framed in this figure of protection and that are the forest lands belonging to the public forest domain, under the protection of Law 43/2003, of November 21, of Montes. In the Northwest region there are 36,000 hectares of mountains included in the Catalogue of Public Utility and represent almost 15% of the region's territory, dominated by the mountains owned by the Autonomous Community, followed by those owned by the municipality. Public forests account for 95% of the area of the Catalogue of Public Utility of the region. The graphic representation that is collected from this category is for indicative purposes, prevailing over it what is indicated by the corresponding sectoral regulations.
