Description
This layer shows the location of Industrial Facilities. An industrial facility is a technical unit within an establishment, regardless of whether it is located at ground level or underground, where hazardous substances are produced, used, handled or stored; including all equipment, structures, pipelines, machinery, tools, particular railway lines, docks, loading or unloading docks for the use of the same, breakwaters, tanks or similar structures, whether afloat or not, necessary for the operation of that installation.
Establishment means the entire site under the control of an industrialist where hazardous substances are found in one or more installations, including common or related infrastructures or activities.
