Description
This layer shows the basins and subbasins of the Region of Murcia and their characteristics: Size and Shape and Hydromorphometric Parameters. Nine zones have been identified (Mediterranean Sea, Mar Menor, Vega Media del Río Segura, Bajo Guadalentín, Vega Media del Río Segura (right margin), Vega Media del Río Segura (left margin), Cabecera del Río Segura and Altiplano) and more than 11000 subbasins. These are the results of the Inventory of Cauces and Natural Basins of the Region of Murcia where an inventory, classification and delimitation of basins and drainage network was carried out.
