Sistema Sport Piemonte - Sport System Reconnaissance, detail of activity space - year 2009
Description
The databases present contain the reconnaissance of sports facilities owned by the public. The survey was made on the 3 sports levels: complexes, installations and spaces of activity . In this regard, the data of the complexes cannot be added with the plants and spaces as the latter (plants and activity spaces) are a sub-segment of the same complexes. The data are divided into provincial and municipal levels. The detailed dataset on the activity spaces for the Municipality and Province is available here. Available in a separate tab the number of complexes, installations and activity spaces, by municipality and province.
GLOSSARY
AREA OF ACTIVITY: Space designed to allow the practice of one or more sports activities. The space of activity constitutes the entity.
SPORTS SYSTEM: Set of one or more activity spaces of the same or different type, which have in common the related spaces for statistical studies, therefore not for tax purposes.
