Description
This digital geospatial data set consists of contours of lines of equal apparent thickness of the
Veremjo Formation, the interval between the tops of the Vermejo Formation and the Trinidad
Sandstone, in Las Animas County, Colorado. The U.S. Geological Survey developed this data
set as part of a cooperative project with the Colorado Water Conservation Board. Sources and
interpretation of the data that were used to prepare this map are described in Scientific
Investigation Report 2006-5129 (Watts, 2006).
