Description
The Shipper Verification of Carrier Hazardous Material Safety Permit (HMSP) function allows HM shippers of hazardous materials registered with FMCSA to check the status of a carrier's permit to transport those materials. The result will indicate whether or not the carrier associated with the USDOT Number entered by the user has a current active HMSP. This function is only available to hazardous material shippers that have registered with FMCSA and have a USDOT number and associated Personal Identification Number (PIN).
