SESAR Solutions - DMAN Baseline for integrated AMAN DMAN

Description

Enhanced Departure Manager aims to establish pre-departure sequence and thereby improve traffic predictability, airport capacity, cost- and environmental effectiveness as well as safety. DMAN Baseline is to be used for the future integration of AMAN and DMAN. Benefits: - Improved adherence to Central Flow Management Unit (CFMU) slots as well as predictability and stability of departure sequence and start-up approval time, good predictability of off-time blocks - Enhanced tactical scheduling, facilitating the implementation of changes to runway configuration - Considerable reductions in average taxi times - Cuts in runway delays and improved “off-block” punctuality - Significant reduction in fuel burn and CO2 emissions due to reduced taxi times and waiting times on engines, leading to environmental benefits and cost-effectiveness
