Scheduled Public Transport Service Piedmont Region (TPL) - GTFS Regional Trains
Description
Data relating to the scheduled service of regional trains operated by Trenitalia with the contribution of the Piedmont Region, with details of lines, stops, routes, timetables, timetables, plus any polylines of the routes, in GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) format. Stops (stations) and routes are geographically referenced in WGS84, with geographical coordinates in degrees and decimal degrees. The data are extracted from the unique regional transport database fed through a data flow provided by RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana), rail infrastructure manager. The dataset does not contain data on services not contributed by the Piedmont Region (e.g. AV trains) or by carriers other than Trenitalia. To know the validity period of the data and the extraction date see the feed_info.txt file inside the .zip file in download. The update of the GTFS datasets is periodic and scheduled, on a weekly basis.

The updating and accuracy of the data of rail transport services is linked to the flow of RFI data received from the Piedmont Region. Regione Piemonte is not responsible for incomplete, missing or incorrect data.
