Description
We use the school weighting when we assess the learning outcomes of schools in primary education. In the educational outcomes model that will enter into force on 1 August 2020, we use the average school weighting of 3 school years as a measure for the pupil population.
The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) calculates the school weighting of a school based on the following characteristics:
—the level of education of parents
—the average level of education of all mothers at school
—the country of origin of the parents
—the length of stay of the mother in the Netherlands
—whether parents are in debt remediation.
