Special Eurobarometer 307: The role and impact of local and regional authorities within the European Union
Description
This report presents the results of a Special Eurobarometer survey which was commissioned by the Directorate-General Communication of the European Commission on behalf of the Committee of the Regions. The aim of the survey was to obtain a better understanding of the importance the public gives to the various levels of public authorities and to measure public awareness of the CoR. The survey results will feed into two of the Committee's major political initiatives for 2009: the presentation of a White Paper on Multi-level Governance and the adoption of the CoR Mission Statement on the occasion of its 15th anniversary.
