Description

A majority of respondents (54%) feel the EU is better prepared to deal with major crises today than five years ago. 87% are aware that the European Union is involved in dealing with crises. 8% of European citizens indicate they, or people around them, have directly benefitted from EU support in response to a major crisis. A vast majority of respondents favour a more active role for the EU on crisis management, in a combined effort with national authorities.
