Special Eurobarometer 199: Citizenship and sense of belonging
Description
This survey, conducted in the autumn of 2003, looks at EU citizens’ attitudes to awide range of issues. Technical specifications of the sample size, methodology and the questionnaire are included in the Annexes to this document.
The survey probes attitudes towards a diverse range of subjects including family and friendship, sport, religion, politics and learning languages. The majority of these questions are asked for the first time and provide a view of European attitudes at a time when the Union is about to enlarge from fifteen to twenty-five members.
