Description

73% of EU27 respondents say they have used at least one mode of transport during the last 12 months: 52% say they used local urban transport (trams, buses, metro, etc.), 33% have used rail transport, 23% have used air transport, 14% have used coach transport (excluding local or urban bus services) and 8% have used ship or ferry services. Awareness of passenger rights for rail transport is the most widespread (33%), followed by air transport (30%), coach transport (27%) and ship or ferry services (16%) and respondents are most likely to have seen such information in railway stations (9%), airports (8%), and on trains (8%). 47% of rail travellers experienced at least one disruption to their journey during the last 12 months.
