Description
78% of respondents surveyed reply that having the euro is a good thing for the EU, while 69% say that having the euro is a good thing for their country. An increasing number of citizens in the euro area, 32%, say the euro makes them feel more European than before. Roughly two in three citizens in the euro area believe this year’s inflation rate will be higher than last year’s; this represents the highest proportion observed since 2008.
