Special Eurobarometer 449: Gender-based violence

This survey aims to assess the perceptions of EU citizens about gender-based violence. Among others, it explores the following topics:
• Opinions about and attitudes towards gender-based violence;
• Perceptions of the prevalence of domestic violence and sexual harassment;
• Personal knowledge of a victim of domestic violence, and to whom people speak in the case of knowledge of domestic violence;
• Whether a range of acts of gender-based violence are wrong and are, or should be, illegal.

The results by volumes are distributed as follows:

• Volume A: Countries
• Volume AA: Groups of countries
• Volume A' (AP): Trends
• Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries
• Volume B: EU/socio-demographics
• Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics
• Volume C: Country/socio-demographics
