Water Framework Directive Surface water bodies (surfaces) (WFD)
Description
Water Framework Directive for surface water bodies (surfaces) Rijkswaterstaat. This file contains the current surface water bodies managed by Rijkswaterstaat. It deviates from a few areas of the current national stock with the Water Framework Directive Surface Water Bodies, which also includes water bodies of water boards, due to the update. The national file is the file that was reported to the European Commission in 2016 and is accessed via the Information House Water. The different areas are described in the quality description. The limitation also deviates from the RWS water law on water quality management limits. The wish is to align these two data sets in the near future, but that is still under development. All RWS KRW water body parts are present as flat. Rivers can also be represented as a line. For the presentation as lines, reference is made to the file Water Framework Directive (line) Rijkswaterstaat. The attribute information is a combination of the EU reporting specifications and Inspire theme Area of Management with the IHW specifications surface water bodies.
