Directorate of Standards and Guidance (DSG) collects information directly from the public at stakeholder meetings, site visits, and informal hearings. Occasionally, DSG may solicit individual experts or groups of experts for information that is difficult to derive from available data sources or academic studies. The Office of Regulatory Analysis within DSG has conducted surveys in the past.
