RNC Detection of Civic Numbers and Buildings.
Description
The NCR (Detection of house numbers and buildings) was carried out as a preparatory activity to the 15th General Census of Population and Housing of 2011, in municipalities with a population of 20,000 residents and above (as of 31/12/2010). The dataset contains some useful information about the purpose and type of use of the buildings, the material used for construction as well as the age of construction and the state of conservation of the same. There are also the geographical coordinates expressed in WGS84-UTM33 useful for any georeferencing. It should be noted that, since the last checks by ISTAT - Department for Censuses and Administrative and Statistical Archives - are still ongoing, some data may be subject to any subsequent changes.
