Description

Historical map of Rio Grande river between Texas and Mexico. U.S.- Mexican Boundary Survey. The original map is a xerox of a map entitled Boundary between the United States & Mexico. Agreed upon by the Joint Commission under the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo; Surveyed in 1852, under the direction of Bvt. Major W.H. Emory, Corps of Topographical Engineers, Chief Astronomer and Surveyor, by Mr. M. von HIppel, Asst. Surveyor.
