Description
The report “Ring Test for Immission Measurement 2011” summarises the results of this EQA. Competence was tested in the measurement of nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) and carbon monoxide (CO). In addition, NO and NO2 were compared with the previous series (according to ÖNORM EN 14211:2005 and ÖNORM EN 14626:2005). The results of all 10 participating organisations have been subjected to the same statistical evaluation methods as those foreseen for the EQLs: according to the “Protocol for intercomparison exercises”, AQUILA document N37. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency has been operating an interlocutory test facility for immission measurements, at which inter-laboratory tests on different air pollutants are carried out at regular intervals.
