Register of guarantees of origin of electricity
Description
Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 368 of the Energy Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos 17/14 and 81/15) and the Decree on the issuing of declarations for generating installations and guarantees of origin of electricity (UL RS Nos 8/09, 45/12 and 17/14 — EZ-1), the Energy Agency maintains an electronic register of guarantees of origin.
The organiser of the electricity market (Borzen d.o.o.) ensures the technical management and maintenance of this register. The register shall contain data on the electricity produced per electricity generating installation; guarantees of origin held by each holder, including information on the country in which the individual certificate was issued; all transfers of each guarantee of origin; the use of guarantees of origin to prove that a certain amount of electricity has been produced from high-efficiency cogeneration or from renewable sources (deployment of the certificate) with all the information on the redeemed certificate and the owner of the redeemed certificate; guarantees of origin exported from the Republic of Slovenia and imported into the Republic of Slovenia.
