Register of tourist guides in the area of the Municipality of Novo mesto
Description
The register contains information on tourist guides, i.e. persons who qualify for tourist management activities in the tourist area of MO Novo mesto. The legal basis for the register is the Municipal Ordinance on Local Turistic Management in MONM, in which Article 8 defines the following: The local tourist guide shall be entered in the register of local tourist guides kept by the municipal authority responsible for tourism and shall contain the following information:
— first name and surname,
the place of residence,
— birth data,
— data on the number of management hours for the previous year,
— evidence of professional knowledge and competence and knowledge of foreign languages.
The local tourist guide shall commence the activity referred to in Article 2 of this Decree after being entered in the register.
The register of local tourist guides may also be entered by qualified guides from other municipalities (to carry out an appropriate professional test in their municipality), provided that this municipality recognises the status of a local tourist guide for the area of its municipality also to qualified guides from the Municipality of Novo mesto.
