The Croatian Chamber of Midwives is a professional independent organisation of midwives with legal personality and public authority. The Chamber promotes, represents and coordinates the interests of midwives before state and other bodies in the Republic
Croatia and abroad. Midwives are compulsorily joined in the Chamber.
The Chamber shall keep a register of its members as one of the public powers.
