Register of waste permits and certificates
Description
Publicly available on the Agency’s website. A certain volume of data is available for the general public while the targeted users are given access to the entire content of the database with the password assigned on request.
The base contains: data on waste management permits (hazardous, non-hazardous production and municipal) — attributes describing the type of permit (e.g. collection, recovery, disposal...), legal entities to which the permit has been granted (company, address), date of issue, types of waste and other information; attributes describing the data in the register of transporters/intermediaries/exporters of non-hazardous waste — type of certificate, legal entities registered in the Register, type of waste, etc.; information on authorised concessionaires for the collection/recovery/disposal of special categories of waste. The database contains a list of the properties of wastes that make it hazardous and a list of wastes in transboundary movements, and a waste catalogue which identifies waste types according to key numbers.
Legal basis: Act on Sustainable Waste Management (Official Gazette 94/13)
The database is continuously collected from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy and the competent authorities in the counties and the City of Zagreb.
Targeted beneficiaries: Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, inspection services, competent authorities in counties and the City of Zagreb and the general public.
