Forestation — Direct protection forests
Description
In the mountains forests perform multiple functions, among which there is an important protective function. Different ways of protection can be identified:- function of indirect or generic protection, is that the forest performs against soil conservation from diffuse or channeled erosion;- function of direct protection, is the function of the forest against natural hazards: avalanches, boulders fall, superficial slips and torrential lavas.
