Tuscany Region — PIT — Invariant IV — Map of rural morphotypes
Description
Raster cartography in a scale of 1:250,000, extended to the entire territory of the Tuscany region, conceived as a theme of support to the knowledge framework of the IV invariant and to analyses on landscape issues in the context of the activities to revise the landscape discipline of the PIT of the Tuscany Region. The map of rural morphotypes is part of the study produced by the IV Invariante of the Landscape Plan of Tuscany “The morphotypological characters of the agro-environmental systems of rural landscapes” together with the abacus of morphotypes. The map aims to provide a representation in the form of ranges of the types of rural landscape present in the region (rural morphotypes), understood as recognizable forms resulting from the crossing of different factors (geomorphological, settlement, naturalistic, cultural) and described in textual and iconographic form in the abacus of rural morphotypes.
