Tuscany Region - Administrative Areas of Tuscany
Description
Series of multiscale and multisource vector datasets, extended to the entire territory of the Tuscany Region representing the administrative boundaries of the municipal, provincial, regional and other territorial areas resulting from municipal aggregations. The data in this series, produced by the Region since 2005 on the basis of the Protocol of Agreement for the Development of the Regional SIT (Resolution G.R. No. 834/2000) and the specifications approved by Executive Decree No. 5094 of 7/09/2005, constitute -in the first place- a technical reference tool for the creation of territorial information congruent with the Regional Technical Cartography.
