National Parks of Sardinia (indicative data)
Description
This data contains the perimeter and zoning of the National Parks of Sardinia (Asinara, Archipelago of La Maddalena, Gulf of Orosei and Gennargentu), established pursuant to Law No 394 of 6 December 1991 — Framework Law on Protected Areas. The perimeters concern both parks in which the safeguard is operating and in which there is an established Management Body and parks in which the safeguard measures are not operating.The National Park of the Gulf of Orosei and Gennargentu is formally established but is not operational (the bodies have never been established and the actual application of the protective rules has been postponed to a new agreement between the State and the Region by Law No 266 of 23 December 2005 — paragraph 573).
