Description
PPR Environmental Assets — Landscape heritage pursuant to art. 143 of Legislative Decree 42/04 and subsequent mod.Elements identifying the trees with important historical and environmental value cataloged by the Forest Authority by the census of the large trees of Sardinia. They belong to this category trees remarkable for their size (height, diameter, circumference), the bearing, the projection of the crown and the presumed age in relation to the characteristics of the individual forest species. They help to determine the state of monumental tree also the location independently of other aspects (trees on rock, on nuraghi) when they help to characterise landscape and give particular suggestion to the places.The monumental trees are a landscape good (Art. 17 paragraph 3 letter l of the N.T.A. PPR).
