CFVA — Types of stand areas covered by fire year 2011
Description
This information layer specifies the types of plant stand affected by the fire. In fact, each polygon delimits the type of vegetation concerned, classifying it BOSCO, PASCLE OR OTHER. Some of the burnt surfaces were detected: 1) with GPS handheld instrument with a tolerance of 5-10 meters. 2) for some large fires also using the satellite images of the SPOT 5 sensor, with subsequent validation through control points.
