CFVA - Types of stands covered by fire - 2013
Description
This information layer delimits, with one or more polygons (same type in non contiguous surfaces of the same event), the type of stands affected by fire for each event. Each record refers to a type of stand associated with each event (ID_INCE). Only fires that have affected a total area of more than 1000 square meters are reported. The type of burnt surfaces was identified by photo-interpretation of digital orthophotos (AIMA 2006 and 2012), for comparison with the land use map (Corrine L.C. V) of the Region of Sardinia and surveys of the Forestry Corps.
