CFVA — perimeters areas covered by fire — 2009
Description
This information layer delimits the areas affected by the fire. Each fire is bounded by a single range. Only fires that have affected areas of more than 1000 square meters are reported.. Some of the burnt surfaces were detected: 1) for large fires using the satellite images of the SPOT 5 sensor, with subsequent validation through control points; 2) for minor fires directly in the countryside by forest personnel, with GPS handheld instrument.
