CFVA - Types of stands covered by fire - 2014
Description
This information layer delimits, with one or more polygons (same type in non contiguous surfaces of the same event), the type of stands affected by fire for each event. Each record refers to a type of stand associated with each event (ID_INCE). Only fires that have affected a total area of more than 1000 square meters are reported. The types of areas burned have been identified, identified and classified by direct observation of plant residues still present, for comparison with vegetation in contiguous unburned areas, using the land use map (Corrine L.C. V) of the Region of Sardinia and photo-interpretation of digital orthophotos (AIMA 2006 and 2010).
