Description
Area intended for the circulation of pedestrians, it includes all the portions of the road platform that within urban areas, are reserved for the transit of pedestrians, ie sidewalks, as well as all areas of passage or pedestrian parking such as arcades or underpasses, pedestrian passages with or without steps, lifebuoys, etc. See: The pedestrian area can be in its own seat, and in this case it differs in height differences from the vehicular area, or in the road, and in this case it is delimited by appropriate road markings. This class does not include the road area that has subsequently become pedestrianised (limited traffic areas of historic centres, for example) but which retains the technical and structural characteristics of the road area used for the circulation of vehicles.
