Description
The Regional Geodetic Network established in 2006 consists of:
— refining network of the IGM95 network. Composed of 365 newly established summits, materialised in accordance with the Technical Specifications "Rental of the Fundamental Network IGM95 IntesaGIS.
— support network that consists of 2641 photographic vertices for the most part coinciding with the trust points of the cadastre.
For the realisation of the Regional Geodetic Network was involved the Military Geographical Institute (IGM) with which the Puglia Region has signed a special agreement.
The Regional Geodetic Network together with the network of permanent stations GNSS-Puglia are the basis of the regional positioning service that allow the realisation of cartographic products (Technical-Thematic Charts, Ortophotos, etc.) with a high level of quality and precision.
