Hydrogeology — Substance of the surface aquifer
Description
Under the free surface water aquifer of the plain territory of the Piedmont Region obtained from the piezometric relief defined on scale 1:100,000 of July 2002 — Water Protection Plan: Hydrogeological area monographs — UTM WGS84. The substantness of a water table is the distance between its piezometric surface and the topographic surface. The values of subggiacence are influenced by seasonal rainfall variations, the watercourse regime and intense agricultural activity (well pumping, canal irrigation).
