BDTRE - Natural watercourse (ASTA_F)
Description
It represents a natural watercourse (river rod) at constant and/or torrential speed, which collects the waters of a water catchment area and flows into another watercourse, into a body of water or into the sea. "Natural watercourse" therefore means a body of surface water with running waters, established naturally.It belongs to the theme "Hydrographic network" of the BDTRE (Territorial Reference Data Base of the Bodies) which defines the symbolic structure of representation of the trend of running waters; it is represented by the ideal flow line of running waters, whether natural or artificial watercourses or infrastructures for the transport of water (i.e. pipelines, forced or not).
