Description
The data, range, classifies the regional territory in 14 types of settlement morphologies: consolidated urban centres of major centres; consolidated urban centres of smaller centres; urban tissues outside the centres; suburban discontinuous fabrics; specialised settlements organised; areas with predominantly residential settlement dispersion; mainly specialised areas of settlement dispersion; specialised ‘insules’; infrastructure complexes; rural areas of plains or hills; systems of rural nuclei of plains, hills or low mountains; mountain villages; rural mountain or hill areas with sparse and dispersed construction; rural plain areas
