Regional Ecological Network - Ecological Value Areas (AVEs)
Description
Areas of Ecological Value, taken from the habitat map, following the development of fauna and vegetation indices that have identified the areas important for fauna (mammals, avifauna, invertebrates in the Habitats Directive) and vegetation, selecting the environments that meet one of the following two criteria: a) be important for vegetation and for at least one of the three fauna groups, b) be important for all three fauna groups.
